Model 1819 U.S. Breech-Loading Flintlock rifle, Second production type, .52 cal., 32-5/8” round barrel, wood stock, lock dated 1837. This Hall rifle is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 85% original brown lacquer finish on the barrel, a light patina on the frame and slight traces of case colors on the breech. The markings are sharp, the bore is very good to excellent, the action is crisp and the wood is overall excellent with just some scattered nicks, mars and scratches confined primarily to the butt stock; sling swivels retained as is the steel ramrod with button head. This is one of the finer Hall flintlock rifles we have had to offer recently and certainly one deserving a place in any fine collection or museum. Est.: $4,000-$6,000.
