Model 1816 US flintlock single shot pistol, .54 cal., 9” barrel, with “P”, “US” and “RJ” proofs at breech along with “S. North”, eagle with “U” and “S” on either side of bird and “MIDLn Con”. The gun is in overall good condition showing a grey patina on metal surfaces including the iron mounts; the bore is dark, the action good wood is good to very good with scattered old nicks, mars, scratches, etc.; the inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the stock above the trigger guard is excellent and an old replaced wood ramrod is present.
