Model 1813 US Flintlock Army and Navy Martial single shot pistol, .69 cal., 9-1/16” barrel, no sights, wood stock, swelled tip wood ramrod. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing a light grey patina over metal surfaces with some scattered pin prick pitting and erosion areas, particularly around the breech of the barrel, strong “P” and “US” proofs on left side of barrel at breech and “H.H.P.” inspector’s mark on the right side of the breech above the touch hole; the lock plate marking of “S. North” and” Midln Con” with spread eagle is approx. 95% visible; the iron mounts are very good with just some light pin prick pitting; the stock is in overall very good condition with an old crack at the wrist on the left side and an almost imperceptible repair to an area around the left side lock plate retainer. Strong demand by collectors for this Model as less than 1,650 were made between 1813 and 1815. From the Richard Wolfe Collection. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
