Model 1813 Horsemen’s saber and iron scabbard, 33-1/2” blade, left side of hilt stamped and inspected: “P” over “L.S.” over “N. Starr” over “US”; the blade shows a dark patina with several small old nicks on the blade, scattered spots oferosion and pin prick pitting; the iron guard has a heavy dark patina with scattered moderate pitting; the wood grip is worn with a couple of old worm holes; the scabbard is overall fair with a heavy dark patina over areas of moderate pitting and erosion, some scattered dents and a couple of small holes toward the drag area at the blade crease; both hanging rings remain.
