Japanese-born actress (1929–2007) best known for her Oscar-winning turn in Sayonara and for her role as Mrs. Livingston in the television series The Courtship of Eddie’s Father. Vintage ballpoint signature, “Sincerely, Miyoshi Umeki,” adding three lines of Japanese characters above her name, on an off-white 8 x 11 card, also signed in blue ballpoint, “Hello, hello! Pat Suzuki,” adding a small self-portrait caricature. A color 7 x 7.5 magazine photo of both actresses has been affixed above signatures. In fine condition, with beginning of signature over printed lines. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
