<B>Mixed Lot of Union Tickets.</B></I> This lot includes 8 election tickets from various locales and wards for mainly mayor and city council offices during the Civil War period. Each ticket measures about 3” x 4” and has a patriotic vignette as a central theme. Of particular note is a ticket for an 1865 election on which the candidate has boldly included “No Negro Suffrage” on his ticket. A few of the tickets have been hand annotated with words and phrases such as “<I>No opposition</B></I>” and “<I>elected</B></I>”. All tickets have toned with age, a few have some small stains, and two tickets have suffered some loss, else they are generally in very good condition. <I>Ex. Henry E.
