With original pocket cover. Original 1837 map. This map was published by Augustus Mitchell in Philadelphia in 1837. Copyrighted 1835 in Washington D.C., they were published from 1835-1837. This is the 1837 map, and it shows all land grants made by the Mexican Government and shows the names of all grantees. The map shows the national boundary line as the Nueces River, and the territory between the Nueces and the Rio Grande is named Mustang of Wild Horse Desert.
