"Misty Farm" an Hanmerart Joachin Lariviere old painting on canvas actuates the mist and also the cows and the farm! This creation on linen is very, very old as an antique as one of my grand-father's now deceased many years ago. An attic treasure now to be treasured by you, your family and friends ! It's obviously an oil painting and this fine art period historical farm landscape scene since he did lived on a farm as well as being a bucheron (woodsman), Hanmerart Joachin Lariviere also cut trees in the forest and sculpted wood into sculptures plus created wood decoys exquisite ones !!! This 18 high x 24 inches long Hanmerart Joachin Lariviere painting is in very good to excellent condition because of its age having as is one small tiny hole which can be repaired. For the times, Hanmerart Joachin Lariviere used his brushes and paints which lasted now near or over 100 years and still perfectly preserved ! The painting has a false back wood frame as you can see. Now he nor we ever framed it as there is no need since it can be hung on the wall as such, easily; or you can add a frame. Provenance will be provided to you and many copies of the receipts too for your use. Enjoy such fine great art of our ancestors in North America !!! You can combine this painting with other paintings or other items or lots in this auction and / or in the next 2 auctions in January 2015... as you please.
