Born Jeanne Bourgeois, Mistinguett (1875–1956) was one of the most popular French entertainers of her day and the highest-paid female entertainer in the world. Vintage glossy 7 x 9.25 photo by Harcourt of Paris, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “A Michel de Bry, le maître de la Rature, ma sympathie, Mistinguett.” Affixed to a same-size mount. In fine condition, with a bit of irregular adhesion to signature and slightly trimmed edges.
