Miscellaneous lot of 21+ minerals specimens. Notable pieces include a 1/2 in piece of josephenite - a rare Ni-Fe alloy with the appearance of a meteorite - only found within its type locality of Josephenite, OR, and several mineral specimens from the Magnet Cove Igneous Complex, AR. These include several crystalline pieces of the titanium dioxide brookite as well as a beautiful example of green wavelite showing typical radial growth habit. Crystalline and granular uvarovite on chromite, 2 examples of fluorescent withereite from IL, beautiful euhedral celestite from OK, and examples of allanite, glauconite, and phologopite are also present. In addditon to these minerals, there is a range of manganese ore from multiple location within the US. These include pyrolusite from NV, alabandite from Patagonia, AZ, a vial of "bog manganese" from Bisbee, AZ, amd manganite and pyrolusite from Carter Co., TN. Of potential mention is a wonderful pseudomorph of manganite after calcite. This photo only represents a portion of the total lot. Not all of the pieces in this lot were photographed.
