Lamar",</B></I> 1p., 9.75" x 7.5" (sight), Austin, Texas , Oct. 1, 1846, being a one hundred dollar bond issued to Charles de Morse. Bond is decorated with usual steel engravings including two vignettes of cattle, a steamboat bearing the Lone Star flag, and an allegorical figure of industry. With cancellation cuts including marks on all ten coupons, none affecting Lamar's signature.
