Lot of five. 1) Benton 'P' Line to all points in Montana. 1881 bill of lading. 2) Original Butte Mining Company stock # 291 for 100,000 shares in 1882. This makes W. C. Child a 20% owner of the company. Signed by George Child as secretary and E. F. Child as president. Talk about a family affair!. 3) Unused St. Helena Gold and Silver Mining Company c 1890. Two vignettes: miners underground and surface miners digging deeper. 4) Two billheads form the Secretary's Office of the Territory of Montana. Each contains lists for the Journal Publishing Company.
