Miniature Gatling gun by Furr of Utah, model 1874, with canister feed. .12 caliber non-firing, but fully operational. Dated September 26, 1980, gun #9. The body of the Gatling measures 9-1/2”, the barrels measureapprox. 6”. The gun, its carriage, and magazine, are finely hand-made and would function with .12 caliber dummy rounds, a number of which were supplied with each gun and now are not available. The condition isfine to excellent, some slight handling and needs a cleaning only. Our information is that less than a dozen of these were produced as they were very difficult to hand-make in this small size. The carriage wheels measure9” in height. A great non-firing display piece by a well-regarded maker. No registration required. From the Robert Petersen collection. Est: $4,000 - $8,000
