The following is from the San Francisco Call in September of 1911, "A mining deal of great importance to San Francisco and to Nevada has been consummated by the organization of the Mineral Hill Consolidated Mining company. The new company will operate under the laws of California. Its capitalization is $2,500,000 in 2,500,000 shares of $1 each. The officers of the new company are Alexander Hamilton, president; R. E. Mulcahy, vice president; F. P. Jayne. secretary, and C. F. Baker, treasurer. The Mineral Hill Consolidated Mining company has taken over and consolidated the entire properties of the Mineral Hill Mining company, Manhattan St. Paul Mining company and Manhattan Minneapolis Mining company The consolidated properties comprise nine claims forming one compact body of about 180 acres, lying about a mile and a half east of the town of Manhattan on the east slope of Saltsbury peak and covering the famous Mineral Hill and St. Paul Hills."
