<B>Milton Caniff - Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 1-10-35 (Chicago Tribune, 1935). </B></I> In the history of comic strip art, <I>Terry and the Pirates </B></I>was a landmark. It became a masterpiece of storytelling coupled with crisp, elegant artwork, and Milton Caniff virtually redefined the adventure strip. Expert use of black shadows and panel layout give this piece fasted-paced drama. This strip has an image area that measures 20" x 6", and aside from some edge wear and light soiling, the art is in Excellent condition.
