Photograph of refinery and three workers standing inside. No photographer noted. "Refinery - Desert Power and Mill Co. Millers, Nev. Feb. 13, 08" printed on left edge of border. Photo shows good focus and contrast while backing has slight discoloration at each corner. Picture is 7 x 5", mounted on 10 x 8" black backing. "Shorting Melting Furnaces and Silver Bullion" printed at bottom of border. "Bullion being made ready for shipment. 65 bars in this Lot. 2 1/2 tons. Value $60,000" printed on right edge of border. The names "Pffeifer, Barr, and Michorich" printed on top border above each man in photo. Great shot of six ingots on display at center left of photo. Millers was a town 15 miles west-north-west of Tonopah, in Esmeralda County, where tons of Tonopah ore was taken. Named for Charles Miller, a RR director.
