Large industrial style building with a trestle structure attached to the left end. Captioned: 100 Stamp Mill Miller Junction, Nev. 1596. Photographer: A.A. Forbes. Unused and not postmarked. The town of Millers was established in 1904 as a watering station along the Tonopah-Goldfield Rail line. It was named in honor of Charles Miller, former Governor of Delaware and vice-president of the Tonopah Mining Co., who was directly responsible for brining the 100-stamp cyanide mill to Millers in 1906. Within a year the railroad had built another mill and railroad repair shops, and businesses grew up. A post office was established in 1910, but sadly, by 1911 the railroad shops and mill had moved and Millers went into a decline.
