Signed on the front pastedown in ink by Millard Fillmore on behalf of his wife, "Mrs. M. Fillmore, Sept. 18, 1858." Autographic condition: very good, with stains to the corners of the signed pastedown. Book condition: VG/None, with cracked joints, edgewear, some minor toning and foxing to textblock, and a library label to spine. Millard Fillmore married his second wife, Caroline C. Fillmore, on February 10, 1858, five years after leaving the presidency.
