Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 8 x 10, December 15, 1851. President Fillmore orders the Secretary of State to “affix the Seal of the United States to the pardon granted to Samuel M. Braff.” Nicely cloth matted and framed with a seated portrait of Fillmore and a biographical plaque, to an overall size of 26 x 24. Scattered light toning, mainly along both horizontal folds, and some stray ink flecks over signature, otherwise fine condition. Oversized.
