This is an early hand tooled leather wallet from the Miles City Saddlery Co. in Miles City, Montana. Charles Coggshall and Al Furstnow were partners in Miles, City, Montana in 1890. In 1895 Cogshall purchased a saddle shop owned by Hugh Moran and became independent. The wallet dates to be very early as it is not marked, Coggshall and is truly a rare piece. Measures 4 1/2" L x 3 3/4" W closed 8 7/8" L x 3 3/4" W open.
