Unique assortment of Dr. Evil’s prison attire worn on screen by Mike Myers in the 2002 comedy Austin Powers in Goldmember. The uniform consists of several pieces, including: two identical blue Chambray long-sleeve shirts, each bearing an embroidered prison number patch on left chest, “00001”; a white V-neck undershirt, size XL; a regular white undershirt with hidden zipper running down back; a pair of navy blue heavy cotton twill pants, with a small tag sewn into waistband reading, “Myers”; two identical gray bandanas with floral designs; two navy blue suspenders, one with metal clasps, the other leather; a pair of navy blue leather Earl slip-on Hush Puppies, size 8M, with accompanying beige Calvin Klein dress socks; and a custom-made skin-colored fat padding suit, with back zipper, armpit holes, support belt, and two rubber nipples. Includes clothing tags related to the prison wardrobe and its usage in scenes 41–42B. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from New Line Cinema, signed below by the company’s president, Jim Rosenthal. Inspired by the James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld from the 1967 film You Only Live Twice, Dr. Evil is the diabolical arch nemesis of British spy Austin Powers, and is often accompanied by accomplices Number-two, Mini Me, and his Persian cat, Mr. Bigglesworth. This costume can be viewed during the film’s musical prison sequence in which Dr. Evil and Mini Me sing ‘Hard Knock Life’ with the other inmates. Myers’ portrayal of Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers trilogy has earned an undisputed place among cinema’s most adored—and imitated—comedic villains.
