<B>Michael W. Kaluta - Shadow #11 Cover Original Art (DC, 1975). </B></I> Pulp hero fought pulp hero when the Shadow met the Avenger in this inspired slugfest from the yarn, "Night of the Avenger." For some unknown reason, DC production artists altered this masterpiece for the final printed version. They changed details on several of the background figures and in the process, they also obscured Michael W. Kaluta's signature -- "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of production artists?" Just to even the scales, Michael W. Kaluta has since inscribed and signed the page again in its bottom border. This cover has an image area of 9.75" X 15", and the art is in Excellent condition.
