Highly regarded American guitarist and composer (1943–1981), a member of the original Butterfield Blues Band; a frequent collaborator with Bob Dylan, he died of a heroin overdose at the age of 37. In 2002 he was ranked as No. 22 in Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.’ Scarce DS, signed “Michael Bloomfield,” one page, 8.5 x 11, January 12, 1974. Contract for a January 26, 1974, concert at the Albert S. Good Auditorium in Bakersfield, California, for which Bloomfield and his band would receive a guaranteed payment of $2,000 plus 60% of the GDR over $10,000. In fine condition with a light horizontal filing fold and two office copies still stapled. Elusive in any form!
