American guitarist and composer (1943–1981) and a member of the original Butterfield Blues Band; a frequent collaborator with Bob Dylan, Bloomfield died of a heroin overdose at the age of 37. Scarce DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, August 7, 1973. American Federation of Musicians contract in which Michael Bloomfield and Mark Naftalin agree to play three nights at The Cave in Vancouver, British Columbia, on August 16–18, 1973, for a nightly wage of $1,500. Signed in black ballpoint by Bloomfield. Attached are pension and leader copies. In fine condition.
