Postal History; 6 Letters c.1820s-70s. Mostly midwestern correspondence with "Who's Who" included. Leonard Case, from S.P. Beers (Founder Case-Western Cleveland); Writer Christian Deardoff (1781-1851) founded the town of Dover, Ohio, responsible for the town's first mill, bank, post office, store and bridge over the Tuscarora correspondence with lawyer H.B. Curtis; Fontanelle, Iowa letter 1864 with cover; State of Indiana, Madison Promissory Note, 1841; Cleveland Letter regarding the death of a member of the Ancient Order or Druids, 1872; and more.
