Mid To Late 1900s North Fork Rock Creek Trail Sign
Featured in this lot is this mid to late 1900s North Fork Rock Creek National Forest sign from the Phillipsburg area in Montana. Rock creek is located not far South from Missoula and is one of Montana’s finest trout streams. Rock Creek flows primarily through National Forest lands, allowing for excellent access for most of the rivers length. Bowles Creek is a 4 mile less popular black diamond single track trail located near Hamilton Montana. This mountain bike primary trail can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating with a 1,266 ft black diamond climb that borders Bowel Creek. The sign shows carved wood lettering that has been painted with yellow paint reading, "North Fork Rock Creek / Bowels Creek Road". There is a yellow arrow on the left side of the sign pointing left and in the top right it shows the official National Forest logo. The sign is made from a large wood plank and shows four mounting holes, two on each side, for easy hanging. The sign shows good condition with the paint fading and chipping and wear to the wood board from years of use and outdoor living. The sign measures 1 3/4" L x 47 7/8" W x 9 1/4" H.
