Mid-Eastern battle axe with fancy etched, chased and engraved blade showing writing and figures of men smoking hookah and holding similar axes. This axe is mounted on an old knotted wood shaft which maybe itβs original. The ax measures 29 ½ β overall and the blade measures 8 ¼β across the width of the blade and 6 ¼β from edge to top. The condition of the blade is good to very good showing quality foraging with some light pitting anderosion. The age of the blade is 19th-century or earlier and the shaft is in good condition.
