The lot features a beautiful set of Mid-Century 1950’s Turquoise & Diamond dangle earrings set in 14K white gold with paperwork. The earrings show a solid 14 karat white gold construction with a drop of turquoise suspended by a vertical cluster of diamond ribbons. The turquoise shows a teardrop pear shaped polished cabochons with a rich soft blue gem quality. The drops are supported by classic Art Deco style ribbon upper support cluster set with diamonds having a central diamond at the articulated joint. The set shows an omega back and are in very good condition. The diamonds total 76 stones all being round brilliant cut with a weight of 0.61 carats, I1 to I2 clarity and G-I color. The turquoise measures a total of 17.56 carats in weight. Overall the earrings weight 9.80 grams. Offered with the lot is an AIG (American International Gemologists) report and appraisal which confirms the above info and values the set at $3,300.00.
