Mid 19th century percussion knife pistol with corkscrew trigger, folding knife blade, sailor spike (awl), and horn grip scales with German silver ends. The weapon measures 5 1/16” in length of body. The barrel portionmeasures 4 ¼” and is approximately .32 caliber. The knife blade measures 3 ¾”. The metal surfaces show a deep patina and light slightly heavy scattered pitting. The grip scales are good with some warping and one (1) crack by screw. The action is not working. Similar example pictures page 70 “Blades & Barrels by Gordon Frost”. From an old N.Y.
