Rather fun to see a reflection of British North America before Confederation.

We offer a fascinating map of British North America issued by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. Although there is no date we note that although the Ottawa River exists Ottawa itself does not. Toronto is identified as "Toronto or York". What is known today as Alaska is identified as Russian America. Upper and Lower Canada exist and their original boundaries are delineated.
Thev map is brown and there are minor discolourations from tape taht once was attached-a few minor pin pricks.
Rather fun.
