<B>Mid-1960's Elijah Pitts Game Worn Helmet.</B></I> The owner of the Super Bowl's first rushing touchdown and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame member put exceptional use into this classic yellow helmet during his service to the great Vince Lombardi. The outside of the shell remains in perfect, well used 1960's condition, but the entire inner shell contents (suspension webbing, neck webbing, crown donut, jaw pads, and forehead snubber) are no longer present. The inner shell does sport dual markered number "22" adjacent to the right ear hole, however, along with an "RC65" recon sticker. The outer shell exhibits original layered "G" side logos and original stamping, and the lower back features a stenciled "22" in proper location, size, and font. The green stripes have factory stamping of "Riddell" and "Kralite." The BD-9, 2-bar facemask is from the late 1960's and is affixed with later period screws and housing peripherals.
