Mid-1950s Tom Heinsohn Game Worn College Uniform
Mid-1950's Tom Heinsohn Game Worn College Uniform. Stunning aesthetics are paired with world class lineage in this package believed to be the earliest surviving complete uniform from the Hall of Fame Boston Celtics forward. It dates from Heinsohn's collegiate career at Holy Cross, the lucky school that claimed the high school All-American's services after he had considered over forty scholarship offers. The blue durene jersey with red and white collar and arm yoke trim was made by "MacGregor," and sports the Cincinnati based manufacturer's label in the lower back tail seam, along with a washing instructions label and a size "L" flap tag. Number "34" is sewn onto the front and back in beautiful cerafed font, which is surrounded by eight stars. All of these identifiers are sewn on in white tackle twill. The matching satin trunks, labeled "MacGregor Size 34" have a red satin belt with metal buckle and red and white trim braid throughout. "North" is embroidered vertically on each side panel, making the complete uniform a thing of beauty, tailor made for mannequin display. LOA from Lou Lampson,

Shipping: Clothing, Costumes & Jerseys (view shipping information)
