A rare “Cape” gun manufactured for P. Powell and Son (who was established in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1835). Damascus barrels. Rifle barrel is fluted. Barrel measures 32 inches long. Overall length is 48.5 inches. Evidence of crack and repair with old brass tacks on the stock. Being sold as a collector’s item and not warranted safe to shoot. No FFL paperwork required on this antique gun which was made pre-1898. We will only ship this item to the United States and only where it is legal to do so. Please know your local/state laws before buying. Please look closely at pics - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.

We strive to keep the cost of shipping to a minimum. We will combine postage cost as much as possible. Buyer to pay actual shipping cost (USPS Priority + Insurance or UPS + Insurance) for items shipped. There is a minimum $5 per lot handling / packaging fee (larger and difficult items are more, please see listings for exact cost). This charge is in addition to the cost of postage and if several items are purchased by one person, going the same place, we will discount the combined charges based upon volume and difficulty of the items to ship.
