K. Publications, Inc., 1935) Condition: FN. The title that eventually became the decades-spanning series Walt Disney's Comics and Stories started as an oversize fun compendium, with puzzles, games, cels, and stories of Disney characters. It's listed as "scarce" in Gerber's The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books, but even when you find a copy, chances are it won't be this nice. At this date, this premiere issue is too large for CGC to encapsulate, but it is significant to note that although subsequent issues are small enough for encasement, CGC has certified copies of just two issues of the title that ran for five years before its title change to WDC&S. Overstreet doesn't even bother listing a NM 9.4 value, so our offering may be one of the nicest copies around. Overstreet 2003 FN 6.0 value = $3,360. Estimate: $3,500-up

<!--

 Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions

No Prior Data Recorded

<font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
