Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Cochrane as a US Navy lieutenant, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Maude, Hope you stay up until this show is over. Sincerely, Mickey Cochrane.” Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder, grading the autograph MINT 9. In fine condition, with two small areas of soiling along the bottom edge. A unique portrait of the legendary catcher who left baseball to serve his country during World War II.
