Extremely desirable setlist written by Mick Jagger for a Rolling Stones concert from 1965, penned in blue ballpoint on a light pink 3.75 x 4.5 sheet, with a list of seven songs below: “Talking Bout You,” “Walking the Dog,” “Just Wanna Make Love to You,” “You Better Move On,” “Little By Little,” “I’m Alright,” and “Not Fade Away.” In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds and light creasing. This remarkable setlist features some of the Stones’ earliest hits, and with the exception of ‘Little by Little,’ all of the songs on Jagger’s list are covers—‘I’m Talkin About You’ by Chuck Berry, ‘I Just Want to Make Love to You’ by Willie Dixon, ‘Walking the Dog’ by Rufus Thomas, ‘You Better Move On’ by Arthur Alexander, ‘I’m Alright’ by Bo Diddley, and ‘Not Fade Away’ by Buddy Holly. The latter served as the A-side for the band’s first US single and was a major success in Britain; with ‘Little by Little’ as the B-side, the single marked the Rolling Stones’ first top ten hit in the United Kingdom, reaching number three. An exceptionally early setlist written out by the band’s iconic frontman during a most formative Stones period. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
