Michael Parkes The Letter Bronze Sculptures
Artist: Michael Parkes. Medium: Bronze Sculptures. Title: The Letter. Size: 16½”T x 8”W x 8”D. 60. A note from Michael Parkes—The Peony in ancient Greece was the symbol for the physician of the gods. Part of the quote from the Corinthians is, If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing....
