Larry Bird (1978 NBA Draft), Magic Johnson (1979 NBA Draft), and Michael Jordan (1984 NBA Draft) forever changed the National Basketball Association as we knew it. Before these three became household names, the NBA playoffs and finals were televised on tape delay. By 1986 when all playoff games were finally shown live, Bird and Magic had each won 3 NBA championships and 2 NBA Finals MVP’s and Jordan was becoming the face of the league as a 2 time all-star. Overall, these three basketball legends combined to win 11 NBA MVP’s and won an astounding 14 NBA championships. Their individual successes facilitated them becoming the most marketable players of their time and helped turned their teams into the NBA’s 3 winningest franchises in terms of championships. “Franchise Cornerstone” is a unique limited edition (75) 48”x18” multilayered acrylic display signed by the three franchise cornerstones in silver paint pen. The bottom signed layer contains etched quotes said by each hall of fame player about one of the other said hall of fame players. The top 48”x12” layer contains an image of each player and is etched with their name, number, position, team name, and their Hall of Fame induction year. The layers are connected with chrome standoffs. The display contains two rear 6” metal cleat wall hangers. The packaging contains the accompanying screws and remaining half of the metal cleat needed for mounting. Their signatures are deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five Step Process.
