Michael Jackson's Personally Owned Japanese Silk Robe Acquired From 2014 Bankruptcy Auction W/(2) COAs & Photo - This Japanese silk robe was personally owned by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The robe was originally acquired by businessman Henry V. Vaccaro when he won a bankruptcy court judgement which awarded him the Jackson family's storage facility located in Oxnard, California after a failed business venture with the family. Vaccaro became the owner of the largest collection of Jackson family memorabilia, as the facility contained hundreds Jackson family items. The items were later sold at auction in the Bankruptcy Auction of Jackson Family Memorabilia, which took place from September 10-19, 2014. This robe was purchased as a part of the auction, and will be accompanied by two letters of authenticity. The robe will also be accompanied by an 8" x 10" promotional photo of Michael Jackson wearing a similarly styled robe.
