Grammy award nomination certificate presented to Michael Jackson for ''We Are the World''. Certificate honors Jackson as a member of all-star charity group ''USA For Africa'', nominated here for ''Best Pop Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocal'' for the song ''We Are the World''. Quincy Jones accepted the Grammy as producer for the song's winning this category. It also won the ''Song of The Year'' Grammy, presented to Jackson and Lionel Richie as writers. Jones accepted a second Grammy for the full LP ''We Are The World'' as Record of the Year. The single became the fastest-selling American pop song in history and the endeavor as a whole raised over $60 million for hunger relief in Africa. Certificate has been inlaid in a wooden frame with a glossy finish. Plaque has an ochre tint, perhaps from age, or as customized by Jackson. Measures 10.75'' x 12.75''. Some scuffing to corners and edges and discoloration to verso, else near fine. With a COA from Henry V. Vaccaro who purchased the famous ''Jackson Vault'', uncovering this award in Tito Jackson's storage space in Oxnard, California.
