From Frank Einstein's first appearance in Caliber's <B>Creatures From The Id</B></I>, through his metamorphosis into Madman, Allred has carried his crazy creation through several publishing houses, including this page from the first issue of <B>Madman</B></I> #1, which was published as a three-part mini series by the now-defunct company Tundra. This 9" x 13.5" image is drawn on a sheet of 12" x 19" sheet of bright white bristol board. The book was printed in two colors: black and light blue, and this piece includes an overlay to indicate the second color for the printer. <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
