<B>Miami, FL</B></I> - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 598 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # (S)6370<BR> While small notes from this bank are quite common, with a census approaching 125 pieces, large examples are truly rare. Just eight pieces make up the entire known population, with even collections as significant as the Sunshine State holdings lacking any large Miami note. We have only handled one large Miami note in any of our sales, with that piece, a virtual duplicate to this note in grade, realizing $12,650 back in September of 2005. This piece is clean, evenly circulated, and very nice for the grade, with its only detriment worthy of mention a very light portion of a bank stamp near the title on the front.
