MiMo 3rd Modern Design Latin America PreWar Post-War

Auction Details

Welcome to our 3rd Auction in Palm Springs!
Session 1 we focus on the American and French Modernism and also present some important contemporary fine art. To name a few: from the US David Bowers: „It’s Coming”, Tristan Schane „Le Roi Soleil”, Canadian Kevin Stone: a real size steel „Raptor”, from China Zhang Jisheng „Pig in Bath”. The classic modernist artists and designers like Victor Vasarely, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador Dali, Alexander Calder, Joan Miró and Charlotte Perriand, Michel Buffet, Jacques Adnet, Roger Capron are represented and always makes an Auction interesting.
Last November we had some important pieces from the Frank Sinatra house and this Fall the Michael Jackson relics from the 1993 „Dangerous Tour” from Turkey makes this Auction a bit special again. An original jacket, some never used tickets, V.I.P. passes and a Pepsi can from 1992 – the concert was originally planned in 1992, one year before the concert – and a wonderful French magazine plenty of great photos and an inserted large fold-out poster.
Session 2 we present a lot of treasures from Latin America, especially from Mexico, Brazil and Peru. This roster is full of respectable names, like Diego Rivera, Francisco Zuniga, Felipe Castaneda – our featured artist, also Carlos Merida, Jose Luis Cuevas, Guillermo Meza, Pedro Friedeberg and of course some important contemporary artist like Noe Katz, Jose Ricketts, Becky Guttin, Luis Cornejo and Jose Luis Estremadoyro.
Session 3 PreWar, PostWar and Contemporary Art, we offer for sale important fine art, prints, lithographs, etchings, drawings and posters from all around the Globe. Christmas is coming soon and isn’t that wonderful to get a piece of art for a few hundred dollars on the wall?
Please enjoy this Auction and I hope we will a have a great time together, either in the room or on the Internet.
As always you can bid live in the room or use http://www.icollector.com if you are living at the other side of the Globe – far from our sunny Palm Springs.Respectfully yours,

Gabor and Trixi
