The Mi-Si Acoustic Trio Mando System features an active, battery-free preamp designed specifically to work with the included Kremona piezo pickup for mandolin. The Crystal preamp include with this system uses Mi-Si's custom piezo linearization scheme. The extremely compact active battery-free preamp is built into a standard 1/4" side-mounted Carpenter Jack and the Kremona pickup is prewired to the carpenter jack.
The Mi-Si Acoustic Trio Mando is prewired and very easy to install. Just insert the Kremona pickup sensor between the saddle and bridge base (top and bottom halves of the bridge), then use the included chinrest key tool to secure the carpenter jack to the side of your instrument. Power up for 60 seconds using the Mi-Si Power Charger for up to 8 hours of performance time.
