Three folio volumes. xiv, [6], lxv, 179; 247; 126 pages, glossary, index. Eighty mostly hand-colored plates and line drawings of armor and weapons. Numerous illuminated head-pieces liberally accented with gilt. <BR><BR>Half burgundy leather over marbled paper boards. Gilt decoration and titles in six compartments between five raised bands. Rules stamped in gilt on the front and back boards. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Shelf wear to the edges of the boards, especially at the corners as is common with books of this size. Corners abraded. Wear at the joints. Darkening to leather, especially the spines. A few small scuffs to the leather, mostly at the spines. Contents bright and in sound condition.
