Original framed photograph, "The Million Dollar Wound" taken during the Mexican Revolution. Born in Lawrence Mississippi, Dr. Bush moved to Texas border for health reasons, and is documented as having setup medical practice in Fort Davis, Pecos and El Paso. Appointed by Francisco Madera as Surgeon General to the Insurrectionists Army during The Mexican Revolution, holding the title of Colonel, he was also friends with Pancho Villa. Originally acquired from the Chet Downs collection. Nicely framed. Also included is the autobiography of Dr. Ira J. Bush. Mexican Revolutionary and Frontier doctor.
