a) * S/N #206298, .38 wcf, 5 1/2" barrel, Colt SAA, pearl grips, circa 1900. CONDITION: very good bore shows wear and 2 “rough spots”, barrel retains 70% original blue, 30% on ejector housing, 80% cylinder, 10% trigger guard and back strap, frame shows touches of case color on right side, spots of “blood pitting” on left of frame, non-standard pearl grips fit well, left grip cracked at screw escutcheon, all numbers match.

b) Mexican-made rig, single riveted loop holster, lined; loop decorated with nickel spots, safety strap, buck stitched seam. Belt has double row of cartridge loops for .38; belt is lined with soft leather, large oval brass buckle. Tooling on belt and holster match, will accommodate a 5½” SAA or similar sized DA. Excellent overall, heavy leather is supple, seams solid, estimate period of use in the 1920s.
