Mexican “Charro” style Pitiado-embroidered belt with provision for bowie knife. Five silver-over-brass buckles, two compartments for silver or gold coin. With Mexican type brass-mounted antique bowie knife. The beltis in very good plus to near fine condition showing just some minor aging, slight use. Also shows large brass studs at center. The bowie knife shows some pitting on the blade but is generally good overall. The beltmeasures approx. 34” and is nearly 6-1/4” at widest part. A very attractive and classic Mexican piece which we would date from the turn of the century to the Mexican revolution. Est: $600 - $1,200
