Mexican Bowie knife with spear point blade etched in Spanish, "Remembrance from General R. Herrero to his dear friend the Senor Don Emelio Combaluzier." Herrero was the assassin who killed Carranza in 1920. Combaluzier was the premier Colt dealer in Mexico City and representative for the Colt company. The knife measures 11 1/2" overall with 8" blade showing died red grips and scabbard also including small skinner also with Combaluzier scratched upon it. The condition is very good with small knife showing large chip and loss, original scabbard included with handmade box it came out of family a decade ago. Absolutely genuine and well known tosouthern California collectors. Est.:$3,000-$6,000.
