Original 10.25 x 6.5 photo of a building at the 1864 Metropolitan Fair by Otto Ebbinghaus & Swift of New York, affixed to its original 13.5 x 10.25 photographer’s mount. Mount is captioned in an unknown hand, “United States Sanitary Fair buildings, held Spring 1864, Union Square.” In very good condition, with scattered surface marks, other pencil notations to mount, paper loss to bottom edge, and scattered small creases and tears.
